Even in “madness”, sanity lurks

Einstein complained that the advent of quantum theory posed an existential conundrum for science. How could a reasonable person reconcile a theory that invokes probability / stochastics to describe the complex and seemingly ordered nature of physical phenomena? However, even Einstein began to grudgingly acknowledge in the existence of “spooky” science. Spooky science is at a fundamental level a transition from a very logical paradigm that we can describe perfectly to one that beggars the imagination with its physical convolutions.
